HDADD - BLACK MOTHER

HDADD’s still keeping his immersive touch but focuses on a straightforward narrative where the contemplative moods of past works have been replaced by a fictional kind of nervous storytelling.

Don’t get it wrong: we’re still talking about psychedelia but forget the hippie, transcendent vibes of his last works and make room to this new dizzy experience whose depth is enhanced by an explicit songwriting and a production which, in some way, sounds more physical than ever before.

The record is structured on a series of episodes where mutant afro-beat blends with Mediterranean folklore and sci-fi electronics clash with ancient futurist ballads in order to create a murky cinematic atmosphere: a continuous chase where tension and relief, damnation and delight pursue each other.

We’ve this febrile jazzfunk that leads the listener in the twilight zone, where the deepest darkness and the highest enlightenment are dualist reflections in a mirror, which is placed at the core of the entire work. Imagine a rush in a gloomy sequence shot: an haunted corridor where sepia tones and fluorescence alternate fast like paints on a black wall.

This work aims to adapt as an imaginary soundtrack for a contemporary Grand Guignol or a Freak Show.A metaphorical and existential description of our times and its rituals in which the audience is the show itself and no one is allowed to experience the drama in the comfort of a seat.

"No Age Music" is a live mixtape in which I tried to create a circular narrative structure using tracks with different styles, moods and backgrounds: this songs are characterized by strong contents conveyed through intensity and a kinematic breath. 
I wanted the mixtape lived its own life like a soundtrack for the harmonious paradox of the decontextualization ... stolen pieces from a original context, once reassembled, become the scales of a uroboro that rotates endlessly without ever touching its tail. 
A little as the historical cyclicality, beyond our gaze, is punctuated by ancient rhythms, timeless sounds and universal music."

HDADD - Sense of Wonder

"Sense of Wonder" is an imaginary soundtrack made of jazz funk, psychedelic hermetism, electronics and a lot of Soul. But, in this case, it makes no sense to refer to labels when it is the instinctive harmony with which these, and other elements, are made to account for how much heart the "Body of Sound" can get to have 'till it turns into a savage genius.

This time HDADD leads into an utopian place where past and future collapse: an ephemeral experience, like a dream state that lasts the length of the record. A trance inducing attempt to conduct the soul of the listener into a primordial state of virginity, where the wilderness of feelings rules over any rational analysis. Like a sleepwalk into a paradise lost from a long time in the deepest corner of human consciousness.

This record is the Experience under X-rays scan: the soul is now warmed by an electric dawn or an ephemeral and definitive sunset, an enlightment obtained by fixing the heat of the horizon's aurora in a sparse meditation. The astonishment of a visitor who's taking the majestic silk roads that leads into the Artifacts of Heaven.

The listening experience is the artificial heaven itself where symbols, science, technology and soul collide inside the spirit of the whole: like a discovery of a new ecosystem where the elements are choreographed by the harmonic order of chaos which arouse the "Sense of Wonder".
An unabashed track after track makes its way through the branches, stones, water and the clouds of an almighty benign nature, which is bathing in the lights of the past and the future.

This work aims to suspend the reality and scratches the surface that hides the implicit numinous qualities of the listeners until the awake comes leaving them with the archetypical memory of the eternal that lives in every one of us.
Nothing more than a Spiritual Thing.

Omega Path - Trancefigure

Trancefigure is the second album from Omega Path, whose mission is to Avoid Boredom through the Art of Repetition.

Its hyper dynamic vision of organic music explores the unlimited possibilities of rhythm, exploiting the absence of conventional drums in favour of an orchestral movement of every single element in its patterns.

This compositions are ephemeral improvisation in which you can experience a bitter sweet disorientation, generated by the continuous change of the sonic landscapes.

A liquid narration which continuosly sublimates the shapes of the musical matter and its colours in a pulsating environment, wherein every single molecule of sound has its specific role: their interplay is the crucial trigger of a chain reaction which finally allows the audience to feel the immersive experience and get higher to reach the overall view.

Omega Path - Held in a Frame

If photography allows to capture a static single moment, a portrait, the musical communication is a movement based language which delivers contents and interpretations due to its synesthetic matrix.
If a picture is a crystalization, a single point on the carthesian axes, a musical frame is a movement itself regardless any lenght.

Images and sound reproductions are both based on the illusion: the iconic side of Cinema and Photography is mainly based on the subtraction factor, the subject is decontextualized from its original environment. The importance of the subject is proportional to the fiction around it, so the "Truth" must be completely hidden.
Music is fiction too but more ambiguous than images: its communication can't be objective, but representative, because it's based on its perceptive nature and the way it affects the listener.

Omega Path tried to stress this points framing feelings and scenarios through this 12 improvisations trying to capture the nature of Chaos and Order.
It carves waves reshaping imaginary environments through emotions and showcases a large amount of sensation from sinister tensions and suspence to ecstatic abandon.
"Held in a Frame" has been developed on a costant contrast between cyclical repetitions and liquid improvisations: a progressive sublimation of rational patterns into a fractalised imaginary where the physical and spiritual sides melt as one.
