HDADD - Mimesi

“Mimesi” is a collection of live recordings which have been made during a session of 10 days in August 2016: this immersion took place in a improvised studio in the countryside.

Basically this songs are the fruit of an ascetic meditation into a flourishing nature which strongly influenced the mood of the production until this last seems an attempt to imitate the environment itself and the processes that make it so alive: an accidental description of that real world endowed with marvelous aspects.

What came out from this immersive experiment is a reflection: a drawn link between the poise that lies in the geometries of music, and the empiricism of the physical experience of an observer. A metaphor of the hidden processes of life which gently crawl and animate a quiet and pristine place far from the speed of contemporary life.

This compositions aim to connect the science of electronic means with the ideal and eternal models you can find into the details of nature: textures, colors, air and the cycle of creation are blurred into a euphoric sober narrative that points to a magical realism into which  representation, imitation and illusion take life through the sound and its time distortion.

Omega Path - Held in a Frame

If photography allows to capture a static single moment, a portrait, the musical communication is a movement based language which delivers contents and interpretations due to its synesthetic matrix.
If a picture is a crystalization, a single point on the carthesian axes, a musical frame is a movement itself regardless any lenght.

Images and sound reproductions are both based on the illusion: the iconic side of Cinema and Photography is mainly based on the subtraction factor, the subject is decontextualized from its original environment. The importance of the subject is proportional to the fiction around it, so the "Truth" must be completely hidden.
Music is fiction too but more ambiguous than images: its communication can't be objective, but representative, because it's based on its perceptive nature and the way it affects the listener.

Omega Path tried to stress this points framing feelings and scenarios through this 12 improvisations trying to capture the nature of Chaos and Order.
It carves waves reshaping imaginary environments through emotions and showcases a large amount of sensation from sinister tensions and suspence to ecstatic abandon.
"Held in a Frame" has been developed on a costant contrast between cyclical repetitions and liquid improvisations: a progressive sublimation of rational patterns into a fractalised imaginary where the physical and spiritual sides melt as one.

COLOSSIUS - Tribal Pursuit LP

Here we are again: Colossius is back with a new solo work since a long time and is well worth the wait considering the fact that we're talking about a fresh and forward thinking full lenght.

"Tribal Pursuit" recalls the missing link between the past and the future: it investigates the roots of rythm and transposes the tradition into something which sounds like the voice of tomorrow.
Most of the tracks here share a lot of with the history of grooves, from psychedelic jazz to indigenous folklore but it seems they have been upgraded to be one of the most modernist listening experience your ears are going to perceive nowadays.

The relation with roots is clear but on the other hand you've an avant-garde approach which in someway declares a distance from the past.
Like an heretic Futurist who keeps the consciousness of the origins of his culture, he creates a new language keeping in mind the source of his informations.

Thanks to the the use of hybrid techniques it sounds like the man and machine finally melt together in a harmonic way: think about futurism and turn its kinetic attitude into a colourful spiral of dynamic percussions, organic grooves and cinematic vibrations.

To Celebrate this happy event we decided to share the first video excerpt to give you a taste of this brilliant Futuristic work.
But That's not all: we also had the pleasure of hosting the groove scientist for the new episode of our mixtape series for which he generously dug some gems from his vast archive of vinyl and packaged a 30 minute trip through electronic jazz, Spacefunk, atmospheric drones and percussive abstractions.

HDADD - Autogenesis

This new project from HDADD can be considered a collection of pictures which wants to portray the presence of life, its variety of subtle manifestations we can experience even in places that seem to have been abandoned.

Life can be seen as a chain reaction of activities, movements and permanent changes of status that may evolve from a bacteria to the final degrade of ashes.
But what remains then can really be considered only devastation or the spirit of life keeps blooming in the documentation of the previous activities?
Life exists everywhere just because the death of someone or something can only be perceived by a living observer, as death itself is the absence of perception and the zero level of feelings.

So this new concept is about this beautiful paradox which is most of the time an ephemeral and ambiguous brackets between the state of origin and that of nemesis, which in a historical observation plane can just be regarded natural mutation.
Autogenesis is a sonic fiction which celebrates the spontaneous processes of creation across different scenarios: a spectral analisys of life's heartbeat and the rythm of cosmic harmony.

HDADD - GRACE

Grace is the new album from HDADD and is the follower of Mondo Mzk. If the previous work was an attempt to face the shadows of digital middle ages, this new one is conceptually a spiritual healing after the effort of that investigation on the dark side of the modern living.

They are songs about the love of nature, navigation, daydreaming and oblivion: they praise the elements of joy which are often hidden by the fog of the lies. In terms of feeling this compositions differ from the tension of the previous material but they keep the continuum because still rooted in the same field of research which has been briefly described as Soundscape Funk: a freeform sound into which the nerves of funk coexist with modern psychedelia and electronics.

Grace can be described as a joyful spiritual resurrection thanks to the wide range of feelings spread across the album as a panoramic idea of funk: microtonal orchestrations, upbuilding psychedelic soul and african rythms come together to synthetize how the roots are still present in the future to create a universal kind of vibe.

This album wants to hold your hands and lead you across the sea breeze to smell the exotic flavour of an immaginary travel in the Mediterranean Area.

It's name is "Pyro" and it's a psychedelic blaster which aims to took you on the same route of the Cosmic Couriers.

Mondo Mzk is a soulful globetrotting through the nervous circuit of the modern ways of living. Souls are made of silicon, and experience is a ghost floating like dust blown by the wind in a desert wasteland.
A travel across landscapes undressed by the man intervention where nature sovereigns in all its beautiful power and cruelty.

Humanity is still there, yet hidden in a twilight zone of representation. Artificial masks replace faces with the smile of fake emotions standing at the top of bodies made of memories.

Like a road movie shot with ever blurred lens, its content is buried under the weight of the scene by scene shadowy narration.
The audience's point of view is induced to detach where lies and truth are, drown in an aurora whose spectrum is made by matter, ghosts, colours, ecstasy and pain.

Fiction couldn't exist without reality as there wouldn't have been any shadow without light.

Welcome Back Ladies and Gents,
Qs is proud to introduce you to LDGU's first solo work.
Behind Ldgu's Moniker you've Paolo Rossi, the founder of Lil Pitch Records, label which built an outstanding reputation with few but well settled transmission with names like Ether, Pinch, Dj Earl and Boxcutter.

This is a Debut EP but Paolo's dress as a musician is not so new for QS: He's already appeared with his tenor Sax on Braille Funk LP warming up tracks like Blowjob and Neopalm.

Aside of his pale attention for Future bass, he shares with us a passion for psychedelia and jazzy visions so he decided to jump onboard with a collection of heartwarming songs made of extatic ambiences, monolithic drones and minimalistic textures.

The overall feeling spread throughout this record echoes the force of wildlife with the use of ermetic compositions which sound like hymns to Mother Earth: these pagan poems are focused on the harmonic ambivalence of the beauty of Chaos.

This is a portrait of nature and its strength which can be found in the peaceful embrace of the coexistence and the dangerous cruelty of death as well.
Ldgu's Visions are shaped with sounds to describe the energy of heartbeats, Predators, Embryos, Leaves, Blood, Creation and Destruction...

The name of this super hero is Colossius.
He does not use Katanas or Shuriken, but his creations are deadlier than any kind of contemporary method of mass destruction.
When he puts his hands on the machines they react like sonic weapons.
Luckily he's soul is driven by the positive force.
Our hero is also a scientist in his field: his alchemic knowledge allows him to manipulate every kind of aural source with majestic touch.
He can carve waveforms like marble and all the ethereal essence of sound suddenly seem becoming physical and organic.
Every beat here has been cutted to fullfill your soul with Cosmic Chaos.
This is his first solo work on QS and can be considered an aural assault definitive like the title.

HDADD - Ancient Future LP

Hi-Definition Attention Deficit Disorder.
The Ones who are affected by this cant pay attention at all but when they do they're unbelievably clear.
Like in this case: HDADD is the side project of UXO, and Ancient Future is its first album focused on Electro Funk and its wide variety of interpretations.
THis jam sessions have been conceived as an omage to Cosmic Music covering a wide ranges of influences from Kraut to Italo disco crossing Pfunk and crushy dub techno.
The aim behind this collection of tracks is to show the link between the past and future of a certain kind of bass sounds in a personal way to abduct the listener in a world made of Palms and Circuits.
This is Future Surf Music for eyes and ears.

QueenSpectra is proud to present Agents of Decay's first transmission entitled Barely ILLegal.
You can consider this album/mixtape a media blitz based on a poly-directional aural assault, to make your funky asses bounce like punks in a moshpit and your brain space explode between your headphones.
Thanks to the continuous muddy flow, white noise becomes gentle and pop tunes rot into harshness. Subliminal messages from the past are codified as a menace from the future, where memories are raped throughout.
AoD psychic arsenal is made of radio frequencies, loops, pitch control and delays tested on a wide range of listeners. They experienced different reactions, from the Brute headbangers in commotion getting hypnotized by commercial radio to the Guidos dancing like mad on cold wave without having syrup.

it seems that Donnie and Matteo took a time machine to get back in our age and deliver this 4 tracker which has been strangely recorded during the summer of 2011.
GO SAVANT! is a trip into future worlds made of scifi synths, electro funk and soulfull atmospheres through which silicon bodies turn into stardust, supernovas and solar storms.
You could find some relations to a certain kind of film scores composers and the idea of afrofuturism but this links could be missed because they're buried into the production which is rooted into the contemporary style of both the producers who have joined forces to produce this blind soundtrack.
Call it Future Soul, Space Funk or Weirdage, this is a an omage to Carl Sagan's philosphy and the consciousness which allows us to coexist in harmony with the infinity of time and space.
Let your ESP increase throught their clairvoyant psichedelia.
